Essie Half Moon Spring Nail Art

Hey there nail enthusiasts!
Spring is here.. although you’d never know it with this mornings surprise Nor’easter!

With the release of essie’s new Spring 2016 collection what better way to summons some warm weather then with a simple half moon manicure using 2 shades from the new collection!

Here’s what you’ll need to create this simple, office approved mani.

The Tools
Lounge Lover by Essie / Retail $8.50
High Class Affair by Essie / Retail $8.50

Essie’s new spring 2016 collection is available now at essie.com for $8.50/ bottle.  You can also find your favorite essie color at Ulta Beauty Stores & Amazon.com

Step 1:  After applying a clear base coat.  Apply 1 coat of Lounge Lover by Essie.  A warm shade of coral. (Also a great color to wear solo)

Step 2:  Luckily High Class Affair is opaque, so applying it over a darker shade actually worked well.  Using the nail polish brush with a minimal amount of polish, paint a subtle curve at the lower part of each nail using High Class Affair by Essie.  Once you have your shape, fill in the rest of your nails by brushing upwards, following the curve.

Lastly seal in your half moon mani with your favorite clear dry fast top coat.
