Hey Nail Enthusiasts!

Today’s blog is all about how to get a STREAK FREE manicure!

The worst is when you open a brand new bottle of polish and apply your first coat and all it wants to do is Glide & Streak, Glide & Streak.

I discovered a great technique that will save you time and aggravation.

(You can find all the polishes mentioned in this article at the bottom of the page.)

The key is getting your polish to grab onto something.

  1. First apply a Matte Base Coat. I use OPI Matte Nail Envy.
  2. Next, apply a Matte Top Coat I use Matte Me Crazy NYC (Any matte polish will do)

Once the matte top coat is dry NOW.. Apply your polish color.

You may even get away with only 1 coat of color polish. 😉

Reasons Why:

Basically, your polish needs something to adhere to. By adding the Matte Top Coat to your nails before adding the color it helps the polish grab to the nail and prevents the streaking. The polish should glide on evenly leaving those annoying streaks behind.

Hope this tip helps out! Let me know if you try it and how it works out!!
Happy Polishing!!!!
