Hey there nailfies!
Formula X came out with a new trio for July colaborated with Lifestyle and Natural Beauty Bloggers Urban Bush Babes.
Here’s a closer look at the new Urban Bush Babes #Colorcurators trio from Formula X & my thoughts on each shade.
Seeing Double is a golden metallic with an unexpected dose of green.
Intrigued by the color but still unsure of how it would actually look on my nails I tried it out and was pleasantly surprised!
I look better with warmer shades, so on me it’s not the best fit, but that doesn’t mean it won’t look great on you!
Warm Vs. Cool
Seeing Double = COOL
It’s a cooler shade with a gold shimmer and army green undertone. If you’re into Gold Nail Polish and looking for something not so ordinary I’d highly recommend this.
The application although may seem sheer at first sight it actually applies opaque after the first coat! For a major pop use two coats & a shiny top coat. (shown below)

Seeing Double pairs really well with Everdream? An opaque, creamy deep evergreen.
Below i lightly blotched Everdream? over Seeing Double.
EverDream?, a creamy deep evergreen.
A basic deep blue green. Opaque and creamy.
Warm Vs. Cool
EverDream? = WARM

Beige From Our Book is a shimmering beige with understated iridescence.
My favorite from the collection Beige From Our Book is a warm, creamy light beige. The iridescence is so subtle, it’s barely there, which is nice for those of you who like cream colors but want something a little different. This is the first time i’ve ever seen a beige with an iridescent sparkle and I like it a lot.
Two coats is all you’ll need for full coverage with this shade.

Beige From Our Book = WARM

Overall the Urban Bush Babes Formula X trio work well together. I can definitely see making an animal print pattern or camo design with these shades.
This collection is great for those of you with darker complexions or olive tone skin.
As a whole I would have rather seen this collection launched for fall rather than summer, but that’s just my personal preference.
With that being said, the beige and the gold are definitely all year round shades and I wouldn’t hesitate to pick them up now.
