Since the holidays are upon us, I thought i’d share with you two new options to add a little sparkle to your trendy tips.  (Nail Art Optional)

Starting with the top photo I used Sally Hansen’s miracle gel (no light needed) natural nail polish in Rhapsody Red.  Loving this warm holiday red, it’s a perfect go-to this holiday season.
Adding a little sparkle on my ring finger i used two coats of Essie – Getting Groovy from the new Essie 2016 Winter Collection.  For the perfect shine, i chose Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat. (But any top coat will do)

For the photo below I decided to bling out my pinky nail with a mini gold santa hat!
Here’s how to create your own mini santa:

The Tools:

Thin Striping Brush
Dotting Tool

  • Using the pom pom as your guide, start with a large dot towards the far side of your nail.
  • Next using either a thin striping brush or your regular nail polish brush paint an outer curve connecting to the pom pom.
  • Lastly starting at the pom pom paint another “c” curve, stopping half way and reverse the “c” curve at the end of your nail to simulate a hump shape.
