Today’s fashion inspired nail art is from the

Rachel Zoe Spring 2014 Collection

Rachel Zoe is such a talented stylist which doesn’t surprise me that her collections would follow suit.  Hip & modern, designed with today’s chique chic in mind.  Effortless Easy to Wear Ready to Wear!

As per usual i’m always drawn to anything resembling an animal print.

Follow this easy 1-2-3 nail art tutorial to get these Fashion Forward Trendy Nails!


Black Nail Polish – Onyx – OPI
White Nail Polish – Alpine Snow – OPI
Gold Nail Polish  – Honey Ryder – OPI Liquid Sand
Striping Brush

Step 1: 
 Paint your nails with black & white.  Half of your nail black and half white and feel free to checker board your nails like i did below.  Your lines don’t have  to be straight because you’ll be covering them up with a gold overlay.  Check out the next step!

Step 2:  Using a striping brush create shapes by outlining your colors with gold polish.  Take this one step further and make a few additional vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines for more color blocking.  As seen in the jacket.

Step 3:  Voilla!! Seal in your design with your favorite Dry Fast Top Coat.  I used Seche Vite for this.

Voilla!  Fun and easy color blocking nails!
