Beauty, Fashion, Fitness & Nails

Hey There Nail Enthusiasts!
1 Day ’til Thanksgiving!!! So in honor of one of my favorite holidays… I decided to pay tribute to my favorite type of print… Animal Prints!  I found this fantastic dress designed by Albert Kriemler for Akris from his Spring 2014 Collection and I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to tackle this print on my nails.  What better time then now?!

Perfect nails for the holidays.. and so simple.. I promise!

Check out these 4 steps to get your own Trendy Tiger Nails!

Step 1:  Start off with solid black nails.  I used 1 coat of Licorice by Essie.

Step 2:  Using a striping brush or if your nail polish brush is narrow enough use that to paint a half moon in glittery gold.  I used Kerry by Zoya for my gold.

Step 3:  Fill in your nail with the sparkly gold polish.

Step 4:  Using a striping brush.  Add your black tiger stripes over the gold.  … A few wavy lines & wishbone shapes work great.  ps.. Wait for the gold to set before adding your black tiger stripes.  I dipped my striping brush into my black nail lacquer but you can also buy a black Nail Art Duo pen/striper by Art Club and use that to create your stripes.

Top it off with 1 coat of your favorite dry fast top coat.  I used Seche Vite.

Voilla… Trendy half moon tiger stripe nails!
