NAIL ART MUSE: Giambattista Valli Spring 2014 Couture

Beauty, Fashion, Fitness & Nails

Here’s a little Pre-Valentine’s Day nail art inspired by Giambattista Valli’s Spring 2014 Couture Collection.
Follow the steps below to get these trendy runway inspired nails!

The Tools:

Soft White:  Instant Hot – EssieBright Fuchsia: Mason – Zoya
Bright Red: Head Mistress – Essie
Nail Art Dotting Tool or Toothpick

Step 1: Start off with all white or soft white nails.  I used 2 coats of Instant Hot by Essie.

Step 2: Using a striping brush or the nail polish brush (depending on thickness desired) Paint a bright fuchsia stripe horizontally across your nails leaving space at your tip for the white to show thru.  You don’t have to worry about making your lines perfect.  For the bright fuchsia, I used Mason by Zoya.

Step 3:  Using a bright red nail polish and your dotting tool or a toothpick, make several dots across the pink stripe.  Continue making dots in a “V” varying in size towards the base of each nail.  Fill in the right and left sides of your nails with more dots.  I used Head Mistress by Essie for my bright red dots.

Finally, seal in your design with 1 coat of your favorite dry fast top coat.
