Mara Hoffman Print Inspired Manicure

Summer is in full effect with coordinating bikini print manicures!

I wanted to find a fashion designer that embraced the essence of SUMMER… who better to do that then Mara Hoffman!

Mara Hoffman a NYC based fashion designer is well known for her colorful prints and creative mix of tribal, geometric and abstract patterns.  Her collections reflect a chic, laid back vibe, inspired by world travel, nature, mythology and magic.

Get These Trendy Nails


 Nail Art Tools

Step 1
Paint solid yellow on your thumb and ring finger.  Solid blue on all the others.  Let it dry.

Step1- Nails

Step 2
Using nail art striping tape (I bought mine at the  Section your yellow nails into 3 parts (depending on the length)
Using a striping brush paint 4 diagonal lines & alternating directions.

Step2 - Nails

Step 3
Fill in your diagonal lines with solid white.


Step 4
Carefully remove the nail art tape and apply 1 coat of your favorite clear top coat!

Blue Nail Design
1. Using the striping brush create diagonal lines varying in thickness.  Uneven lines are perfect so to mimic the pattern in the bikini top.
2. Using your dotting tool after the black has dried take your blue polish and apply dots to the thickest lines.
3. Follow it up with your favorite Quick Dry Top Coat
