Hey there nail enthusiasts!

Here’s another simple yet somewhat tedious nail art design inspired by Alexander McQueen‘s Spring Ready To Wear 2014 Collection.
A dotting tool, nail striping brush, black, red, white and silver nail polish is all you need to emulate these fashion forward trendy nails!
Take a look at the steps below to create this look.

Shopping links to items mentioned in this post can be found at the bottom of the page.

Step 1:  Start out with 1 coat of solid black nails.  I used Licorice by Essie.

Step 2:  Using your striping brush and red nail polish paint 2 horizontal stripes across your nails.  It’s okay if they’re uneven because you’ll be covering them up with your silver dots.

Step 3:  Using a dotting tool or a nail art duo pen paint 3 rows of white dots.  One row at the top of your nail and the other 2 bordering your bottom red stripe.  Lastly using your silver polish paint a row of silver dots over each red stripe.  I used Seraphina by Zoya for my silver and for my white dots I used Azature White Diamond Polish.  I’ve also listed a few other white nail polish alternatives at the bottom of the page.

Step 4:  Protect your trendy nail art with one coat of your favorite dry fast top coat.  My 2 favorites are Good To Go by Essie and Seche Vite.

If you don’t mind taking the time to do all the dots… this look is a really fun design that will have your friends saying WOW!! Love your nails!
Hope you enjoyed the post… and stay tuned for more fashion forward nail art coming this week!
