Today’s muse for Tutorial Thursday happens to be from the Louis Resort 2015 collection.  This  really cool swirly organic pattern caught my eye.  I was able to get these nails done in 3 easy steps.  Since it’s so swirly it’s practically a simple design to emulate.

I happened to use all Essie products to achieve these trendy nails (oh & a nail art duo pen by art club).   Check it out!

The Tools

Base Coat: First Base Base Coat – Essie

Black Nail Polish:   Licorice  – Essie

Baby Blue Nail Polish: Rock The Boat – Essie

White Striping Brush Duo: White Nail Art Duo – Art Club

Quick Dry: Good To Go – Essie

Matte Nail Polish: Matte About You – Essie

Step 1:  Start off with solid black nails

Step 2: Using the nail polish brush paint a few blobby lines with a few branches hanging off.

Step 3:  Using your nail art pen paint a few squiggly lines around the blue lines & fill in the blue with some white dots

Step 4:  Seal in your nail design with one coat of dry fast top coat.  I used Good To Go by Essie.

Step 5: Lastly top off your nails with one coat of matte nail polish for a cool matte finish!

A pretty quick and easy pattern to do. (My nail art pen was a bit on the fritz which is why my white lines were a lil’ thick.)
I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Drop me a message below & as always…Thanks for stopping by!
