If you’re looking for some sparkly textured pastels for the spring time, look no further. Zoya recently launched 3 new shades for Spring 2014. My overall thoughts on the new Pixie Dust collection is sort of …. ehhh.. they’re okay. They’re very pretty and very sparkly, but also very textural. Kind of a pain to polish… due to the thick consistency of each lacquer.
Removal’s also a bit of a task… Zoya recommends holding a cotton ball saturated in polish remover over each nail for 20 seconds and then proceed to wipe off. I would also recommend if you happen to have a scrubbing nail brush handy, put a little oil (i like coconut oil) on the brush with some soap and lightly scrub your nails under some running warm water. This will help get rid of any lingering glitter flecks.
If you’re a fan of textured polishes then you’ll love this collection.
Each retail for $10/ bottle and are available at Ulta Beauty or online at www.zoya.com or Amazon.com
Take a look at my swatches… each were applied with 2 coats of polish, without a base or top coat.
