Veil Nail Art

Lace Inspired Veil Nail Art!

Hello Nail Enthusiasts!

Today’s mani was inspired by the cover on the May Issue of Harper’s Bazaar

I know.. i’m a little bit behind.  Between juggling my full time job (advertising / web designer, furniture & accessories buyer) and beauty blogging.. sometimes things get lost in the shuffle.  I’ve been wanting to paint a veil accent nail for quite some time and when this issue came out I finally found the time to do it!

Here are the polishes I used to get the look

Essie- Nice is Nice – pale violet  Buy It Now: Amazon – $4.90   /  Walmart $7.75
Essie- Sand Tropez – warm neutral tan Buy It Now: Amazon $4.63  /  Walmart $7.75   /   Ulta $8.00
Art Club- White Buy It Now: KarmaLoop $1.95   /   Image Beauty 2.89  /  Color Club $4.00

I used a striping brush to create the thin white lines and used a dotting tool to make the veil dots.  It was definitely a challenge to get this look but I did my best.. 🙂

What do you think?  Love it or Hate it?  Let me know!
