Hey nail & beauty enthusiasts,
It’s officially SPRING & excited to welcome some warm weather & budding flowers!!!
In honor of the introduction to springtime here’s a simple watercolor plaid nail design i painted using the limited edition Essie Watercolor Kit.
In case you are unable to find these watercolor shades you can easily recreate this look using regular nail polish.  Just pick shades that are lighter and able to be layered.

Here’s what i used:

Essie – Excuse Me Sur

(Essie Watercolors)
Essie Pen & Inky
Essie Point of Blue
Essie Highest Bidder

  • To re-create this look simply apply 2 coats of Essie Excuse Me Sir allover your nails.
  • Next apply medium size horizontal stripes of Blue (Point of Blue) across your nails leaving space between the lines
  • Apply medium size vertical stripes of pink over the top of the horizontal stripes.
  • Lastly apply a thin strip of Green next to the pink

Seal in your plaid print with 1 coat of your favorite dry fast top coat!
