Naughty Nautical Collection by Essie

At first chance I ran out and bought 4 of the 6 shades.

Full Steam Ahead – A pretty shade of lilac with a hint of shimmer
Rock The Boat – Baby blue tone with a hint of shimmer

Here’s a look at two of my favorite brights in the collection.

Naughty Nautical – Sea shade of Emerald Green with a hint of shimmer
Sunday Funday – Tropical Tangerine with a hint of shimmer

I really enjoyed wearing these colors together.  Both the pastels & the brights compliment each other really well.
All of the shades went on seamlessly accept for 1.
My only complaint was that the baby blue “Rock The Boat” was very streaky and not as opaque as I had hoped.  It actually took me 3 coats to finally get an evenly covered nail.  I tried a few times using different base coats and even switched the brush.

Other than that I was extremely happy with my color choices.

As for the brights, they went on seamlessly!  Somewhat surprising, ’cause Essie polishes have a tendency to streak. For these two shades, I put 1 coat of  regular base and then 1 coat of matte polish to help prevent streaking.  Followed by 2 coats of color and 1 coat of quick dry top coat.

Quick Dry Top Coat: I’ve been using Good to Go by Essie

Overall, I absolutely adore these shades.  Any of these four colors would be FABULOUS PEDICURE PICKS!.  Kudos to Essie for launching another set of wearable, summer lacquers!
