Glitter Waterfall Nail Art Tutorial

Hey there nail enthusiasts!
1 day left ’til Christmas!!!  Woohooo!!
If you’re looking for a ridiculously simply way to add a little nail bling for holidays but you don’t want to go all out this one’s for you.

You can use any base color you’d prefer.  I chose a dark chocolate brown called “Partner in Crime” by Essie with Summit of Style for my glitter waterfall both released by Essie in 2014.  (ps.. 1 year later and both polishes are still in great shape)

Here the easiest way to get that glitter water-fall effect (as i like to call it)

Step 1:  Apply your base coat
Step 2:  Apply your chosen color for all your nails.  I used Essie Partner in Crime
Step 3:  Using a thin, long striping brush coat the brush with the glitter specs from Essie Summit of Style.
The key is to not saturate the brush with the glitter.
Step 4:  Paint 3 stripes down your nails, leaving enough space between each stripe.
-Depending on how large your nail bed is you may need more or less stripes, but i painted 3.

Tip:  It doesn’t matter if your stripes are uneven or not perfectly straight, because the clear coat covers up any wavy lines. 😉

Step 5:  Seal in your fabulous glitter waterfall with 1 coat of your favorite dry fast top coat & voilla!
