French Manicure with Matte Tips

From the brand new collection released by Essie for Fall 2014.  Here’s a twist on a french manicure using a matte polish on the tips!

The base color is called Take It Outside – Essie  A creamy, neutral putty shade.

All you need to do is paint 2 coats of Take It Outside by Essie over each nail and follow with 1 coat of a shiny dry fast top coat.  For this manicure I used Seche Vite for my top coat.  Using a thin striping brush dipped in Matte Nail polish.  Apply the matte polish to the tips of each nail with one stroke.   To get a straight tip I recommend using a really long thin nail art brush & hold your brush in one place while rolling each finger under the brush.  I’ve included links to nail art brushes that work great for french tips below.
