Fall Nails featuring Dermelect Nail Lacquers

Beauty, Fashion, Fitness & Nails

Hey there nail enthusiasts!

Today i wanted to introduce you to a great brand that many of you may have never heard of called Dermelect Cosmeceuticals.

I was recently approached by the company to test out colors from their recently released fall collection.  Excited about the opportunity I was able to choose 2 nail lacquers out of the 4 released.

I chose “Commando” a creamy nude reminiscent of a light terra cotta & “Army of One” a creamy khaki green.

As you see in the photo above the polishes come in a cool rectangular / oblong shaped plastic packaging w/ a mirror like back.  Loving this and the simple square bottle, i was really excited to see how the polish applied!

Always when trying out a new brand the first questions that come to mind are:  how will they apply, will they streak & lastly how fast will they chip?

Let me start by giving you a little background of the brand first.

Dermelect Cosmeceuticals, a family owned company who’s main focus is producing high quality skin & nail care products for women.  Known for their peptide-infused nail lacquers and treatments.  Uniquely infused with protein peptides to strengthen nails.

How It Works:

The first coat instantly bonds to the nail, while the second fuses with the base coat to create a flexible web of color that resists chipping and improves brittleness.  The ME colors combine fast drying, high shine and healthy “green” dose of vitamins, peptides and moisture, offering a colorful solution to the contemporary woman’s beauty concern – aging nails and hands.

Key Ingredients:

  • Keratin Protein Peptide-Hydrolyzed Keratin extracted from New Zealand sheep’s wool that helps strengthen nails

  • Strengthens weak, brittle nails
  • Restores nail flexibility
  • Helps nails resist chipping and splitting
  • Provides long lasting, high shine and bold color
  • Water & detergent resistant
  • Protects against UV rays
  • Formaldehyde, DBP & Toluene FREE
  • Cruelty Free (no animal testing)

Fall 2015 Inner Wild Collection:

dermelect Fall Inner Wild Collection

Loving the two shades I chose. Here’s a close up of Dermelect’s Commando and Army of One.  Both applied smooth and adhered to my nails exactly as described above.  Only requiring 2 coats, they both were streak free and 100% full coverage after the first coat.  I would highly recommend trying the brand and selecting either one of the new shades from the “Inner Wild” collection or picking one of the many other colors available thru the Dermelect website: www.dermelect.com

Here’s a close up of the brush:  Narrow and easy to apply.  Especially on those with smaller nails and nail beds!

Commando –  The perfect nude for fall

Army Of One – An amazing neutral khaki green.

Dermelect’s ‘ME’ Inner Wild collection is available for Fall 2015, retails for $14.00 each and can be purchased at www.dermelect.com.

Stay tuned for some fun and easy nail art using Deremelect Fall Colors later this week!
