Video How-To: Stamping Lace Nails
Hey there nailfies!
Here’s a little video tutorial showing you how to create your own lace nails using Born Pretty Store Nail Stamping Plates and a custom nail polish made by me!
My original idea was to make a sheer tinted black nail polish. I ended up morphing my idea and created nude shade by using a sheer pink instead of a clear for my base and adding black to deepen it. Not exactly what i was looking for but the end result turned out just fine.
- For a matte finish I used Matte About You by Essie.
I used two Konad stamping plates to create these lace nails.
- First I used M79 and for the tips I used M71.
Both were available on www.bornprettystore.com but it appears that Amazon carries these two plates now. Each are available for around $4.50.
If you’re looking for a how-to on making your own sheer black tinted lacquer take a look at the one below created by SheIsLaMarie.
