Step 1:  Start with 2 coats of flat beige nail polish.  I used Don’t Pretzel My Buttons by OPI.

Step 2:  I found it easiest to get my triangle at the base of my nail centered on my nail by first creating an outline.  Then fill it in with blue.
So, using your nail art striping brush create an outline for your solid blue area.

Step 3: Fill in the top half of your nail with blue.  Leaving your triangle in beige at the bottom.

Step 4:  With your striping brush paint thin lines varying in length around the outside of the beige triangle.

Step 5: Outline your triangle with a thin black line using your black nail art striping brush.

Finish off your design by sealing it in with 1 coat of your favorite dry fast top coat!
