Zoya Mae Nail Polish

Zoya Mae Nail Polish

Hey there nail enthusiasts!
Still trying to do some catch up… so here’s a quick and easy nail art using shades from Zoya’s Island Fun & Paradise Sun Summer 2105 Collection.  Definitely a look that anyone can wear.  Whether short or long length nails!

Here’s what you’ll need to create this simple half moon, dotted nail art design.

GenesisZoya (ZP790) – Crystalline white with a micronized metallic pearl finish
Talia – Zoya (ZP798) – True turquoise in full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula.
Mae – Zoya (ZP794) – Warm magenta pink with a micronized metallic pearl finish
Any type of dotting tool, even a toothpick will work!

Step 1:

Start off with a clear top coat.
Next apply two coats of a pearly white over all your nails.  I used Genesis by Zoya.

Step 2:

Next you’ll want to paint a half moon shape over all your nails.  This is pretty simple to do.  Start on one side of your nail and swoop over to the other side creating a “U” shape.  Then fill in the rest.  I used an opaque teal nail polish called Talia by Zoya and it only took me 2 strokes for each nail.  When you have to use more that 3 that’s when you’ll start to get clumps and your half moon will begin to look messy.  Remember… practice makes perfect.

Step 3:

Last but not least add a few dots on the teal framing the base of each nail with a sparkly pink color.  I used Mae by Zoya which has just enough shimmer and sparkle to pop off the teal.

Finally, add 1 coat of your favorite dry fast clear top coat to seal in your festival ready, paradise nails & Voilla!

Loving this combo… and this collection by Zoya.  Stay tuned for more fun nail art and swatches and reviews of the entire Zoya Island Fun & Paradise Sun Collection!
