Holiday Bling: Get Glittertastic With Essie & Zoya
Who doesn’t like a little bling during the holiday season?!
Here’s a closer look at how you can bling on the holidays using new winter colors from Essie & Zoya.
In the pic below i’m wearing Aspen by Zoya a frosty MatteVelvet white nail lacquer. New this season from Zoya in their 2015 MatteVelvet Collection. Over the tips I chose Essie Fringe Factor from their new Winter Luxeeffects Collection.
As you see my i’ve been keeping my nails fairly short lately. But that hasn’t stopped my from wearing a french!
To recreate this look all you need is 2 coats of Aspen by Zoya. Let your nails dry and using the brush from Fringe Factor by Essie gently glide a thin line over the tips of each nail. Essie nail polishes are great for creating french manicures ’cause of their thin brush. They’re also a great polish to use when painting smaller nails.
Finish it off with two sprays of OPI Rapid Dry Nailpolish Spray and you’re good to go!
Here’s a closer look at Fifth Avenue by Essie. A candy apple red out for the holidays in Essie’s 2015 Holiday Gift Sets!
Add a ‘lil Bling On It!
I decided to pair Fifth Avenue by Essie with Tassel Shaker from Essie’s Luxeefects Winter 2015 Collection.
The two compliment each other perfectly! The copper confetti strands in Tassel Shaker sparkle nicely over Fifth Avenue.
To get this look below simply apply two coats of Fifth Avenue to your nails and once they’re semi-dry apply a generous coat of Tassel Shaker from Essie over all of your nails. For a super glossy shine add 1 coat of Good-To-Go by Essie to seal it all in!
Disco Ball Nails
If you’re looking for that all out bling this holiday season.. here’s a perfect set of metallics!
For this nail look i used a bunch of different shades.
I started off with one coat of MatteVelvet Sue by Zoya. (see below) I know it almost makes no sense ’cause you barely see the color beneath. But Sue acts as a perfect sandy neutral base color to bring out the sparkle in the next two shades, without it this look would look bare and drab.
Next i added Frilling Me Softly and Fringe Factor both by Essie in the Winter Luxeefects collection. Simply apply a generous coat of both glitter polishes over your nails ’til you reach your perfect amount of sparkle. Lastly apply 1 coat of Good To Go by Essie to seal it all in and create that extra glossy shine!
You don’t need fancy tools or a super steady hand to bling out your naked nails! Just have fun with it & whichever look you choose, have fun this holiday season & deck the halls with some extra bling!
